With remarkable views overlooking the island, Mount Royal is the highest point in Canouan, with it's summit measuring 877ft above sea level. Equipped with a dedicated hiking trail, Mount Royal is suited for beginner-intermediate level adventurers. Enjoy the journey while hiking with turtles and iguanas, not forgetting to look out for orchids and hermit crabs climbing trees along the way. Hiking along the trails takes an estimated 1.5 hours, with moderate inclines along the hiking way.

 Itinerary:

1.  Pick-up from your Accommodation in Canouan
2. Hike along the Mount Royal Path
3. Breaktime and Photo taking at summit, 
4. Descend Mount Royal
5. Transfer to Accommodation in Canouan

Important Information:

1. Guests of all ages can participate, and there is no maximum to the number of guests that a reservations can be made for. 
2. We accept reservations for any time during the day, but we recommend booking for timeslots between 6:00-10:00 or 15:30-18:00. The sun is usually less intense around these timeframes. 
3. For guests taking the morning hike, you can decide to either have breakfast at the summit of Mt Royal, or head to our apartment to have breakfast prepared for you while you freshen up. For those taking the afternoon hike, refreshments will be provided before the hike begins and can be used when taking a break at the summit or after the hike.
